Mackenzie Jill Fox

It's a girl! Mackenzie Jill Fox was born by emergency c-section on May 27th, 2008 at 12:30 pm. She was 6 pounds 12 ounces, 18 3/4 inches. Mommy and baby are doing great and despite the scary entry into the world everyone is healthy!

After the hike to Maunawilli Falls I started to have contractions for a few hours, but they suddenly stopped. About 30 minutes later my water broke and Tim, Jessie and I were off to the hospital.

Maunawilli Falls Hike

On Monday May 26th we decided to go on a hike to Maunawilli Falls. We got a little lost so we were there for a little longer than expected, but it was a beautiful hike.

Mackenzie's Beach BBQ

My Friends Tess and Marcella were nice enough to through Tim and I a baby shower for Mackenzie. We had a barbecue lunch at the beach on base. It was a big success and a lot of fun. Tess is a future Martha Stewart and she made a beautiful diaper cake and real cake. Here are pictures of some of our friends that came out to celebrate the newest addition to the Fox family!

Girl's Bingo Night

I recently found out that there is bingo every night on pearl harbor navy base. Some of my friends and I have been going every couple weeks and we are seriously the youngest people there! I have yet to win, but it is still a lot of fun. Unfortunately, my friend Danielle moved to Texas, so this was one final outing for us to say goodbye.

The Fox's Vacation to Hawaii

Every year since Tim and I have been in Hawaii Tim's parents have been able to come and visit for 2 weeks in February. This year his brother Chris was able to come out too. It was great to see everyone and spend time "pretending to be tourists."
